I need a do-over

I miss the good ol' isaw and fishball days.

I remember, when I was in highschool, I couldn't wait to get to college. I hated riding the school bus coz it fetches us at exactly 5 a.m. everyday and leaves the school at exactly 6 p.m. It basically leaves us about 5 minutes to run to SM, buy anything that we might need or like and then run back. All the teachers made it their life purpose to meddle in your affairs and you can't talk back!

Tapos pagdating ng college, ganun din. I coudn't wait to graduate.. Actually, I coudn't graduate.. hahaha.. I've been working for almost three years before I finally got my diploma..

Parang "Tadaaaaan," moment yun. I'm finally free to do whatever I want..

Kaso hindi pala. Pag gusto mo pala mag absent, kailangan may vacation leave. Pag gusto ko magkasakit, kailangan may sick leave. Pag gusto mo mag half day, katakot takot na trabaho ang mag hehello sayo kinabukasan. Even the home situation changed a lot. I used to cook for my family, as in two-course meals. Pero ngayon, since dalawa lang kami ni Mark sa bahay, nakakatamad na magluto.. Plus, kung ano yung niluto for dinner, malamang yun ulit ulam namin kinabukasan kasi hindi namin nauubos. Haaaay.

College probably is the most carefree period in a person's life.. You are independent to a certain degree pero hindi pa rin severed yung support ties (read: allowance and free car use).

True independence comes with a hefty price tag. Kelan kaya magkaka sale??
